Bet On NFL Pro Bowl 2010

2010 NFL Pro Bowl Event Date: Sunday, January 31 2010
Match Venue: (LandShark stadium) previously Dolphin Stadium

The Pro Bowl is the premier all-star event in sports and will feature the best players in the NFL. The Pro Bowl will be played one week before the Super Bowl in 2010 and both games will be staged in Dolphin Stadium.

The 2010 Pro Bowl will be the first time the event has been held on the mainland in 30 years, and the first time in South Florida in 35 years. The game has been held the week after the Super Bowl at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu since 1980 and it's probable that the game will return to Hawaii after 2010, although not on the permanent basis, as has been the case over the past three decades.

Pro Bowl History

A postseason All-Star game between the new league champion and a team of professional all-stars was added to the NFL schedule in January 1939, at the end of the 1938 season. In the first game at Wrigley Field in Los Angeles, CA the New York Giants beat a team made up of players from NFL teams and two independent clubs the Los Angeles Bulldogs and the Hollywood Stars. An all-NFL All-Star team provided the opposition over the next four seasons, but the event was cancelled after the game at the close of the 1942 season.

The NFL revived the game in January 1951, after the 1950 pro football season. It was a contest between conference all-star teams: American vs National (1951-53), Eastern vs Western (1954-1970), and now, the AFC-NFC Pro Bowl format, which began in 1971, rotated annually between host sites until 1980 when it moved to Honolulu. Now history will be made in the Pro bowl again as it will be hosted in South Florida, Miami.

Over the last few years the Pro Bowl has featured future Hall of Fame Inductees Peyton Manning of the Indianapolis Colts, LaDanian Tomlinson of the San Diego Chargers, Terrell Owens, and Randy Moss. Past MVP’s include NFL Hall of Famers Dan Fouts, Walter Payton, and Jim Brown.

The NFL Playoffs odds offer a football environment like no other, where every play matters and the slightest mistake can cost a team a chance at history. The NFL Playoffs always make for some of the best football.

Whether they’ve clinched a berth before the NFL season ends or they’ve grabbed that lucky wild card, each grueling step of the Playoffs is do-or-die on the way to the Super Bowl. Divisional Playoffs and Conference Championships can be among the most thrilling events in pro football. More NFL Playoff Betting

How to Bet NFL Football Online

Straight Bets, Parlays, Teasers ...
Brief explanation of the different types of bets to wager on football (NFL).

Football Straight Bets
The team wagered on must win by the point spread given at the time of the wager. For straight wagers, unless otherwise indicated, the odds are $1.10 to win $1.00. Games that tie are considered "no action" and money is re-deposited back into your account. Due to changing events, the point spread may fluctuate at any time.

Halftime Wagers
Halftime wagering is simply a wager only on the score of the first, or second half of a contest. The line offered will be a pointspread, a moneyline, or a combination of the two, but the wager applies only to the score of the halftime period specified.

Parlays (also known as Multiples or Combos) )

This is a bet of 2 or more teams (selections) or propositions in no particular order. All teams wagered on in a parlay must win. If there is a tie, or "no action" among the selections made, the parlay reverts down to the next lowest number for payoff. In the case of a 2-team parlay, it will revert down to a straight wager. No parlay bets will be accepted where individual "selections" are connected. For example, you cannot parlay the over of the first half of a football game with the over of the total game, because the two are 'connected' More NFL Football Betting Information
